Diana Taylor

Diana has been a nurse for over 30 years, working in acute care and out-patient settings. She has worked as Clinical Nurse Specialist with the Pain Management Service at Nepean Hospital for the past 9 years. Diana has extensive experience in, and has developed a deep understanding of the complex issues facing people living with Chronic Pain.

Diana's particular interest lies in educating clinicians to improve the delivery of chronic pain management, health outcomes and patient experience. Diana is actively involved in group pain programs which aim to empower those living with chronic pain to gain control and live meaningful lives.

In 2016 Diana took on the role of Project Coordinator for a Telehealth and Outreach Service. This role involved the implementation and delivery of specialist Chronic Pain Services to rural communities in the Murrumbidgee region, NSW. In 2018 Diana presented a paper on this project at a nursing conference in Switzerland.

Diana is married with 3 teenage children and has lived in the Blue Mountains for 20 years. She enjoys reading, travelling and values time with her family and friends.
